Welcome to Hambly Enterprises Ltd., a diversified company located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on the east coast of Canada, made up of three divisions: PEI Home & R.V. Centre, Hambly’s Countrywide Home Furnishings and Appliances and Hambly Rentals Ltd.

In 1963 Hambly Enterprises Ltd. first opened its doors to Island customers. Bill Hambly Sr. founded Hambly Enterprises Ltd. with sons Wayne and Doug. Together they built Hambly Enterprises Ltd. to include a diversified product offering of mini homes, modular homes, recreational vehicles, home furnishings and appliances, modest to deluxe apartment rental accommodations and four mini home, modular home land lease communities. Since that time, Hambly Enterprises Ltd. has become an umbrella company for a number of different business divisions that cater to the lifestyle needs of Islanders.

PEI Home & RV Centre
Representing Prestige Homes Ltd. of Sussex, NB since 1968, PEI Home & RV Centre is an exclusive dealer for this complete line of quality mini and modular homes. Popular RV lines represented are: Golden Falcon and Titanium by Glendale, Prowler and Mallard by Fleetwood, and Fleetwood folding trailers. A knowledgeable and dedicated sales staff,  a highly competent Parts and Service Centre, and excellent product lines are the keys to the success of this division.
Hambly’s Countrywide Home Furnishings and Appliances
With the successful beginnings of the housing and recreation vehicle sales division, Hambly Enterprises Ltd. expanded their core business to include Hambly’s Home Furnishings. Since its opening in 1973, this division has grown into one of PEI’s most stylish furniture, appliance and home accessory stores.
Hambly Rentals Ltd.
A continued desire to diversify the business led to the construction of Hambly Enterprises Ltd.’s first 12-unit apartment building in 1983 and the inception of Hambly Rentals Ltd. Today, Hambly Rentals owns eleven apartment complexes that offer a range of modest to deluxe living accommodations in choice areas of Charlottetown.

Other aspects of the business include three land lease communities: Riverview, Chateau, and Parkwood. A fourth modular home land lease community, River Ridge Estates, is now under development.

Now, four decades later, Hambly Enterprises Ltd. has evolved from a three-man shop to a staff of 35 employees. Having outgrown the original store facilities on Kensington Road, a modern new sales outlet was built next door.
